David has over 20 years of purchasing, supply chain and operations experience in both industry and consulting roles. He operates across public and private sectors with particular interests in delivering cost reduction programmes, building purchasing and supplier management capability and applying strategic supplier relationship management.
He is a ‘hands-on’ consultant and has commercially led numerous high-value, ‘big ticket’ major contracts, outsourcing, and strategic sourcing programmes. Prior to joining 105 Consulting David held a range of management positions with a global airline, an international IT Services organisation, a specialist procurement consultancy and one of the world’s largest consulting, technology and outsourcing firms. His first career was as a mechanical engineer and outside of work continues to hold a strong interest in science and engineering.
